Bank of New Zealand is one of New Zealand's big four banks and has been operating in the country since the first office was opened in Auckland in October 1861 followed shortly after by the first branch in Dunedin in December 1861.
The Bank of New Zealand wanted to help its SME customers gain better access to capital and business advice at scale, in order to support the growth of their businesses.
Collective Campus developed a custom startup matching program and went to market, identifying and recruiting startups and scale-ups from across the globe that could address the business challenges. Applications were assessed across myriad factors and shortlisted startups were invited to a pitch event in Auckland in front of senior BNZ stakeholders.
Over 100 applications were received from across the globe, with 10 being invited to pitch, and several selected to develop solutions for BNZ.
