Deakin University is a public university in Victoria, Australia. Established in 1974 with the passage of the Deakin University Act 1974, the university was named after the second Prime Minister of Australia, Alfred Deakin.
Deakin was looking to train up a team of data and business analysts on the agile methodology, so that they could get from A to B faster, and deliver better outcomes.
Collective Campus prepared a customised 2-day agile bootcamp for 20 participants which gave everybody an understanding of key agile concepts, why they're important and how to apply them to their line of work.
1) Developed understanding of difference between waterfall and agile
2) Developed capability to run an agile project (including backlogs, stories, estimation, agile meetings and more)
3) Improved the team's ability to deliver features rapidly, on time and on budget
4) Greater customer-centric focus to product development
