Design Thinking for Government
The City of Burnside is a local government area in the South Australian city of Adelaide stretching from the Adelaide Parklands into the Adelaide foothills with an area of 2,753 hectares.
CHALLENGE
City of Burnside approached us to develop a tailored foundational design thinking training session for 30+ employees of the local government council.
SOLUTION
We delivered a one-day workshop that taught participants the fundamentals of design thinking that could be applied to both public-facing services as well as internal processes.

OUTCOME
Participants walked away with working knowledge of the five steps of design thinking, and how to effectively deploy them to identify problems, define solutions, build prototypes, and pursue the best options.
