WHY RUN AN ACCELERATOR PROGRAM?

Invest

Hedge against disruption by gaining financial exposure to emerging startups and technologies. Collective Campus is recognised by the Australian Tax Office (ATO) via private ruling as an ESIC Accelerator, which means investments in our startups may be eligible for tax deductions and capital gains tax exemptions. More information on ESIC can be found here.

Branding

Competition for exceptional talent is high and employee churn costs companies tens of thousands of dollars. Sponsoring an accelerator program improves your brand in the market to attract and retain top talent, particularly millennials and Gen-Z.

New commercial opportunities

Skate to where the puck will be. Don't become a case study on what not to do and gain a competitive advantage by exploring tomorrow's revenue lines today.

Access to talented minds and new technology

Gain exposure and access to emerging talent and technology before competitors do by partnering and building relationships with early stage startups.

HOW IT WORKS

  • OBJECTIVES

We spend time to understand your strategic objectives, business model and organisation structure so that we can build a profile of what attributes startups that align with your objectives.

  • RECRUITMENT

We will evaluate startup applications based on a set of criteria we have developed to increase likelihood of success and invite a shortlist to our bootcamp.

  • BOOTCAMP

Shortlisted startups will take part in a 2 day bootcamp where ideas are developed and vetted, business models are honed and pitches are constructed.

  • PITCH

As part of our recruitment process, we'll run a Shark Tank inspired pitching contest. We will invite the most promising startups to participate in your 13-week corporate accelerator program.

  • ACCELERATION

Startups work on building their minimum viable products (MVPs) and finding product market fit. They will receive ongoing mentorship, education, workspace and access to relevant networks.

  • DEMO DAY

The Demo Day is where startups will present to the partnering company, investors, media and other stakeholders. Program partners will have an opportunity to invest at a discount should they want a piece of the action.

Collective Campus is a proud recipient and partner of the Australian Federal Government's Incubator Support Program initiative and an Early Stage Innovation Company (ESIC) which gives investors in our startups generous concessions.
